Can I reproduce the original painting I bought now that I own the image?

Nope. You only own the painting, not the copyrights to it. You may not reproduce the image in any way, shape, or form. Ownership of a physical painting does not constitute any reproduction rights. Laurel Greenfield’s copyright is registered through the US Copyright office. Federal and international copyright laws strictly prohibit reproduction of any kind, including but not limited to electronic reproduction, without prior written authorization from Laurel Greenfield.

If you would like to show off your new artwork on social media, please feel free to do so as long as the work is credited to Laurel Greenfield. You may not intentionally or unintentionally pass off my work as your own or use it as part of your own personal blog or website without my written consent.

The original artwork I ordered doesn’t look as good in my house as I hoped. Can I return it?

You may return original artwork purchased from my shop in its original condition and packaging within 7 days of receiving it for a full refund of the artwork price, not including packing and shipping.

Commissioned original artwork is non-refundable.

Can I return prints or other items?

Unfortunately no. Prints are made to order just for you, so no refunds will be granted.

Why do you paint food?

It has been my subject of choice for as long as I can remember. Food, specifically dessert, just makes my soul happy. It is what my immediate and extended family has always bonded over. Food tells a story about who we are, where we come from, and how we see ourselves. I received my graduate degree in Gastronomy from Boston University, so I love food enough that I basically got my Masters in food.

What medium do you use?

I most frequently use acrylic paint, but I also enjoy drawing in ink and colored pencil.

How long does it take to complete a commission?
